"We had a nice stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly! thank you Moon, Edward, Huan, and the kitchen team as well! We stayed a total of 7 days: 6 nights in a room with windows and two separate beds, and one night in a standard room. The standard room has an inside window and can be a bit noisy.
The cleaning wasn’t equally thorough every day, which was a bit disappointing.
Breakfast was good, though a little early if you’re a late sleeper.

"Recommend this hotel! Great clean, large rooms and staff are lovely. Pool is VERY refreshing and breakfast is very varied and delicious.
On another note - I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to the travel service this hotel provides. I have never received such wonderful, prompt communication and we did a 10 day trip (many different excursions) at a very competitive price. Even when there was a hiccup with dates, he staff work tirelessly to rectify - even at 10pm!!! Highly recommend this stay - yes, some night can be slightly noisy but earplugs are provided and we slept soundly. We knew we wanted to stay central and knew the risks of that!"

"Lovely hotel, staff all very nice and helpful. The hotel is situated outside the ‘main’ city area, so visiting the old town etc requires getting a taxi, but it’s not expensive. There is an expensive supermarket next door and how you go to the main road and back, the only downside being if you order a taxi or delivery they may end up going there instead so check your Grab location is set to the lobby.
The room was great, very spacious and clean every day. It had all the amenities we needed to heat up food or wash some clothes after a long day walking around in the heat.
The fitness centre was good and the pool nice for a relax.
Nearby has some nice restaurants and bars, very expat focused so not the local feel, but very good food and coffee is easily found!"

"The hotel totally surprised us with a free upgrade to a spacious 3-bedroom apartment! It had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. The receptionist and bell boy were super friendly and helpful. Checking out was a breeze too.
Just a heads up, the hotel doesn’t provide toothbrush, shaving kit, or cotton pads. You might need to ask the receptionist if you need them."

"The front desk staff of the hotel is friendly and can communicate in English. If you need any service, you can directly tell the staff.
The room number 101 we stayed in this time is spacious, elegant and clean. There is a simple kitchen inside, and a washing machine and dryer are provided. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas.
And when the door is closed, it is completely isolated from the outside noise and very quiet.
The breakfast is buffet style, and there is also rice noodles that can be ordered separately, which is very delicious.
Thank you very much to the hotel staff for providing a good accommodation environment for my husband and me"

"Great service. Nice hotel. Great rooftop and views. The gym had a lot of equipment. The only downside is that it is some distances from the old quarter and a lot of the famous restaurants. That being said it is more peaceful. Due to its location, you will probably have to order a lot of cars back and forth. I would say it’s worth it if you aren’t staying in Vietnam for that long."

We booked the hotel because of its high-rated reviews and its branding as a 5 star boutique hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks and the staff was friendly. We arrived hanoi quite early, so we asked if we could do an early check-in. We were informed by the staff that an early check-in was not impossible, but there was an extra charge. It was however totally understandable that the hotel has their arrangements so we went along with the regular check-in time, but the staff quite passive aggressively told us that they informed us on WhatsApp— we were on a flight and later on a Grab to the hotel so we were unable to read the message entirely. I would expect a 5-star service to be more understanding.
To be very honest, I would doubt if the hotel qualifies to be categorized into a 5-star hotel. Of course, the hotel provides customers with all the necessary amenities like toothbrush and shaving kits, but the hotel room didn’t have a window and lighting was insufficient. There was a bathtub, but there was no proper standing shower and it was just a shower head next to the toilet without curtains or doors. The twin bed was extremely small and too easy to be moved around (in a sense that if I wanted to sit at the edge of bed, the mattress would slide to that side).
Hygiene was fine but some areas such as the wall and the bathing area could be improved. We ran out of tissue paper in the room as well but after housekeeping the box was still empty and not replaced with a new box of tissue. Soundproofing at the hotel was not solid since we could constantly hear noises from next door during midnight.
In our booking package free breakfast was included, so we checked it out in the morning. A small buffet was provided, but the plates and utensils had oil on them. There was a set menu, but the scrambled eggs were not up to par and the pho was okay. Considering the hotel brands itself as a 5-star hotel, I would expect better hygiene and quality check.
Location-wise, the hotel is located at the heart of Old Quarter. It is convenient but this also means traffic can get very hectic nearby. Moreover we realized the staff was getting less and less friendly as we reached the end of our stay. It would be nice if their attitude and service could be more consistent, again, given it is a 5-star hotel.

The bathroom has strong water, hot quickly. Quite great but the only thing is that the floor drain is outside, far from the shower, so every time you shower, water easily overflows onto the floor outside.
In return, it's convenient to travel and is welcomed friendly and has a delicious breakfast, so it's ok.

DdavmolenaarI had a wonderful stay at Skyline Hotel Hanoi. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the Old Quarter, within walking distance to great restaurants, cafés, and the night market. The room was not very large but extremely clean, cozy, and well-prepared.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave me great local tips, helped arrange transportation, and even assisted with booking a tour to Ha Long Bay. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options served in a pleasant, comfortable setting.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at Skyline Hotel Hanoi and would definitely come back the next time I visit Hanoi.

YyashhhI would totally recommend this hotel. The room is exactly looked like the pictures. Very strategic location, near to the touristy place such as the train street, many good food reachable within walking distance, even jazz and speakeasy bars.
But most importantly I would recommend because all staffs and service were top notch!!! I booked 1 month in advanced and need to make certain arrangements due to my itinerary. I found their WhatsApp contact from Trip and they were very helpful, fast-response, and solutive to make sure I have a pleasant trip. Also, when I needed to leave early for a day trip, they even offered us to pack up some pancakes, bananas, and water because the breakfast service was not started yet.

I also liked how it is near a lot of mini stores where I can go pick up things that I need. Owner is very nice and loans me things that I needed. She is very respectful to me calling me sir. Hotel maid was very friendly to be around. I like how there was a portable convection stove for me to cook things with. I like how there were silverware, chopsticks, and dishes that I can use to eat my food with. Very good deal to use the washer where it only costs 20,000 dong for the first time and free for additional uses. I liked how it was near that big Winmart grocery store.
Hotel room was very clean. I liked how it had this small space where I can hang my clothes up to dry which was perfect because it was directly underneath the air conditioning unit of the room upstairs where it gives off the heat which dries it faster. Hotel always has a fresh clean set of towels available whenever I need it. Hotel always has toilet paper available whenever I need it.
The only thing that I didn't like was that now and then, there are spiders, where I had to kill 2 of them. I also had to deal with a big spider on my last day. I am somebody that has a fear of spiders.
I might comeback to this hotel in August, September, or beginning of next year when I comeback towards Hanoi in Vietnam and the situation fits for me.
